Did you follow your passion into a career that many would consider uncommon? Have you thought about making a change but find that there is something holding you back?
University of Chicago alumnus Jonathan Alpeyrie took a leap and chose to follow his passion quite literally around the world as a war photographer. Jonathan’s career, which stretches over a decade, has brought him in over 35 countries, covered 14 conflict zones, mostly in East Africa, the South Caucasus, the Middle East and central Asia. Jonathan has documented combat in some of the world’s most dangerous warzones and was even abducted and held in captivity in Syria for 81 days.
We'll Ask Jonathan About:
How he works to overcome the unknown in his career
How he puts into practice what he learned at the University of Chicago
Advice he has for others looking to follow their passion and pursue what many would consider an uncommon career
